DURABILITY

The Libra head is well sealed and can withstand the harshest of environmental conditions - hot, cold, humid or dry. It is highly resistant to moisture, dust and temperature extremes.

With 'pre-marine prepping'  the Libra head can be used in most salt water situations uncovered. Splash housings can still be used to protect cameras in these applications - the head, however, generally needs no external bagging that could hamper stabilising or full operation on all axes.

The Libra's generous roll axis travel - 80
° - allows it to level an image's unsteady horizon even when encountering significant swell in the water.

Check out the gallery page for photos of the extreme environments in which the Libra head often finds itself!
