HELICOPTER AERIALS
For aerial applications, the Libra head utilises our Tyler built, fully approved A-Star / Squirrel helicopter bracket system. It offers nose to side coverage with full 'look down' from a single mounting point.
Whilst not a substitute for 'long lens' dedicated aerial mounts e.g. Spacecam and Wescam, the Libra head offers significant benefits over traditional nose and side mounts.
It is very cost effective, as both tracking vehicle and aerial shots can be completed using a single Libra. Once the aerial kit is prefitted in the hangar, change over from tracking vehicle to helicopter and vice versa is made quickly on location by our certified technicians.
