Advanced Camera Technologies P/L was incorporated in 2001. Owner Tim Cousins has been associated with Libra Worldwide Inc since the mid 1990s in the UK, as a head technician and also as part of the team that developed both the Libra and Mega remote heads.
ACT plays an ongoing role in the research and development of technological improvements in Libra and Mega products. We are the sole endorsed agent for their rental in Australia, New Zealand and South Pacific.
Extensive knowledge and experience with our product range delivers to clients the highest level of technical support and backup.
Facilities at ACT's workshop allow us to effect constant testing, maintenance and upgrades of equipment. This optimises onset performance, reliabilty and international compatability.

Coupled with backgrounds in grip and camera departments, our specialist approach has created a depth of experience and skillsets that are an advantage to all productions. When a shot does not involve a remote system, our technicians still expect to assist their assigned department as required.
All Advanced Camera Technologies technicians are factory trained and certified by Libra Worldwide Inc and Dynamic Mounts International UK, and participate in training modules as new equipment and systems are developed and released for use.
Our technicians have extensive credits, including large scale international feature films and TVCs.
